William Gowan and Elizabeth Ritchie born circa 1797 had (3 children found so far) Robert born 1820, Cecilia born 1822 and Elizabeth born 1835. With the gap in D.O.B between Cecilia and Elizabeth then I am sure that there are more children. However , Cecilia Gowan is my great, great Grandmother and she was born 1822 in Bervie, Kincardine . Cecilia Gowan married John alexander in Benholm, Kincardine in 1850. John alexander was born 1827. Cecila and John had several children. Jean Anne, Elizabeth,Cecilia, Joann,William, John, Robert and Anne. Cecilia Alexander ,( My great grandmother ) married a Joseph Wood.They had children by the name of William wood, Joseph Wood , Peter Wood and Betsy Gowan wood,(Possibly several more children, however have only been able to find the names listed. ) Betsy Gowan Wood ( grandmother) was born in Nether Tulloch , Garvock, Kincardine 27th June 1886. As far as records show, she never married but had a son in 1909 called David Wood. I would like anyone who has an interest in any of these surnames to contact me so we can share information

I am looking for any relatives of Mary Hill (Cable) who was born circa 1828 in Somerset, England. she married a Wesley Caleb Cabel who was also born circa 1828.They married circa 1848 and had the following children. Enos, Achsa( my great grandmother) Caleb S, Mary Anne,Thomas W. , Christan A, and Thomas Cable. Achsa, born 1850 in Poulton somerset married a Thomas Samuel Sims in 1869 and had the following children. Thomas, George, Eliza, Caleb John, James,George, Mary, Seth Samuel and Louisa Sims, ( my grandmother), Louisa sims Married a Ted Brimson and after research find that they had moved to Wales and then back to Somerset. Most of the Sims were born in Wales but I would like to go further back and find out the parents of Wesley caleb Cable and Mary Hill.
