Henry Everest Adams settled at what is now McCrae, Victoria, about 1845. Henry's son Robert raised his family at McCrae. Henry's daughter Emma married and settled in New Zealand.
His parents, elder brother John Everest Adams and sisters Eliza Mary, Emma Sarah and Charlotte Masterman arrived in South Austrlia in 1839. They all raised families in and around Adelaide.
