Looking for information on my g grandparents JACOB BARTH b. 1836 married to KATHERINE(CATHERINE) NILLIS b.1842 in Germany. Very confused since marriage certificate, her last name is KREI?, but on husband death certificate it is stated as NILLIS. They had 3 children all born in IOWA: GEORGE was blind , EMIL (my grandfather)married MARY JOSEPHINE GERLACH and LOUIS who married a LIZZIE KASSON. Resided around Dubuque, Bellevue and Springbrook, IOWA areas. Would like any help with information on any of these families in my search. Thank you!
