I'm hoping for assistance on any information, mainly Catherine McGowan from Donegal Ireland born between 1831-1834, was an Irish Orphan along with her sister Eliza, dob 1832-1835.
Both were transported to Port Phillip (Melbourne Victoria) Australia, on the Lady Kennaway, arrived on 6th Dec 1848. Went to work for James Damyon of Glen Ferry (Glenferrie)
Would like to know birth dates and possible parents names, I have James McGowan and Mary Malone?
Catherine is my husbands great great grandmother, She married Charles Joseph Sherlock 1855-1857 in NSW Australia, and went on to create a large Sherlock family.
