Charles was born on 7th aug 1849 as far as i know in London . When he sailed to N.Z. i dont know . I do know he married Sarah Ann Roil in 1870 at Cristchurch N.Z. They had 10 children in Christchurch befor my g mother was born in Melbourn Victoria Australia two more were born in Australia ether Victoria or N.S.W. He died on 12 Oct 1933 at Rockdale , Sarah died 30th may 1944 San!s Souci N.S.W. any help from England with charles will be recieved with thanks , and any information on them i can give will be given freely . Charles and Sarah are my Gr grandparents.My granmother was Nellie Louisa Walker born in NZ.
Was your Grandmother Alice who married Hugh Mackenzie?
