Conway Ship to Australia, 19th century

Journal by Harls

I have recently published on the ship Conway which came to Australia on five occasions from 1854 - 1862 visiting Melbourne, Hobart, Sydney and Brisbane on each occasion with around 400 immigrants. The book is titled, My Cathedral in the Sea - A History of the Conway. Those interested in the book can see more information on www.theconway.squarespace.com

The book gives researched information on the reasons for the journey, the location where the Conway was built, the voyages and experiences of the immigrants as well as much social history.
