I am keen to make contact with descendants of John EADIE (1754?-1794?) who married Mary PATON (1751-?) 26 Oct 1778 Blackford PER SCT. They had 6 children, all of whom married and had children:

Katherine (1796-1878) m James MALLIS (1796-1834)

Catherine Eadie bn 13 Nov 1830 at Dunblane Perthshire married Stewart Archer Lauder on 29 August 1861 at Blackford Perthshire;
My Lauders are in Australia and New Zealand. Relatives also in Canada by name of Munro.

The image I received from ScotlandsPeople is difficult to read, particularly the parents of Catharine. It looks like Andrew EADIE and Elizabeth McEWAN and a check of the IGI, records a marriage of Andrew EADIE and Elizabeth McCUAN on 23 Nov 1923 in Dunblane PER SCT. In my tree I have no EADIEs with births in Dunblane (despite the fact that it is just down the road from Blackford)and I have not been able to follow through on any of the Andrew EADIEs that appear in my tree either. I have posted a tree on WorldConnect which will give an idea of where I come from.
