John P. is my great-grandfather. I would like to find information on his parents and siblings. John was born about 1850 in Illinois. He had a brother Henry, who was a few years older. Their parents might have been George W. Hovey and Nancy Pierce, but I can't seem to confirm that. Any help would be appreciated very much.

I am a decendant of Henry Hovey who is my greatgrandfather, and George W Hovey and Nancy Pierce are the parents. If you check out findagrave.com in Sangamon County, Illinois there is a little information about John P. Good luck with your research.
