According to family legend my g.g.grandfather Jim Givens moved to Texas with my g.grandfather Jim Givens. We have no record of his mothers name or if and when she died. My g.grandfather was a teamster in Texas and married my g.grandmother Perlina Elizabeth (possibly Warden). They were moving via wagon to New Mexico around 1912 when they met the Crims. My grandmother Mary met and married Frank Crim at this time. She was fourteen years old. Their life was hard but very interesting. They raised Kashmir goats. If anyone can find any more infomation on the Givens, I would greatly appreciate it. G.grandmother Elizabeth(this is what she went by) filed for a land grant in New Mexico about 1915.
