it was once called Saint Albans in the 18th century and renamed after Samuel Holland a surveyor.

Is it still refered to as Holland Landing?

If you google "Holland Landing" you can see where it is located within
the town of East Gwillimbury. It is still referred to Holland Landing. The area is known for its rich dark soil and was a good farming area.
