I have been devoted to genealogy for about 20 years. Obsessively devoted! I work on my families, my husband's families, friends and family-by-marriage starting out with their research. I am working on my Lupton line. A delightful story about that. One of my former co-workers is a Lupton. Several years after I quite working at the same place, the Lupton name became prominent in my research. Yes, my former co-worker and friend and I are genealogically related. We share a many times great-grandfather, Joseph Lupton, the progenitor of the Lupton name in Virginia. Related not just once through Lupton, but a few more times through other lines. Hilburn being one of them - out of Pennsylvania. Genealogy offers so many fun, interesting, and sometimes alarming connections. Hope others out there and I will, if not connect, perhaps share tidbits of data we pick up from our research.
