John Paton was married to Isabella McGregor in Marton where John learnt his trade.
John and Isabella's daughter Mahalia McGregor Paton married Robert McKenzie. Their daught Isabel McKenzie is my Mother.
Tim Paton and Mona Bishop had two children June and Mervyn. June married Roy Lester and they had a Cordial Factory in Levin in the 1945 onwards. Merv looked after the family farm.
John and Isabella Paton are buried in the Ashhurst cemetery as is Theodore Paton and Mona Paton plus Mervyn Paton

Theodore Paton (1894-1970) was the 5th of 6 children of John Henry PATON (who was born in Adelaide, South Australia about 1859) & Isabella McGREGOR

John Henry & Isabella married 30 December 1881
their known children were:

1884 - Mahalia McGregor Paton
1887 - Isabella Paton
1890 - Janet Elizabeth Paton
1892 - John Robert Alexander Paton
1894 - Theodore Paton
1899 - Phyllis Paton
