I have a short list(30+) of Whitehouses in Queensland Australia. David's son Charles James Whitehouse married Sarah Ann White on 21 may 1867. Sarah was born in Bishop Storford Norfolk UK 7 Aug 1845. (died Laidley Qld 1928) so obviously emigrated at some time. Father (Benjamin White)born and died Thrussington Leicester UK, but mother(Susan Waterman)born Leicester died Laidley, Qld 1881. Father may have emigrated too, wife died 1881 aged 64, then he returned to England, himself dying in 1895.
