Charles Peck married HARRIETT BENGE in England and they emigrated to New Zealand on the 'Catherine Stewart Forbes", arriving in Wellington NZ in June 1841. Charles was then 32 and Harriett was 26, with their children George (10) and Sarah (8)
Charles drowned in 1860 in a flash flood at Turakina - 22km East of Wanganui NZ - he was 51 years old.
Apparently Harriett remarried to a Robert Relf but I cannot find anything about him - could you please help
But, I know nothing of HARRIETT BENGE (except what I have on this tree) PECK of Taita and would like info on her, like her parents and siblings and any other children... can you please help fill in the gaps on the above tree, e.g. what happend to son George? who did he marry?
