My GGFather Patrick Bowes, wife Maria and sons Michael and Denis arrived in South Australia in 1866 from Ireland (most probably Kildare where Denis was born). Sons born in Adelaide were Patrick Henry (my GFather) and Philip. Family broke up, Michael went to Mildura and Renmark area, Denis, a jockey accidently killed in a race, Maria with sons Patrick and Philip moved to Richmond, Victoria approx 1892.
