Nancy Ellen Whittaker, born in 1807 Bolton, England. If present research is correct father is James Whittaker and Mother is Anne Sladin. Nancy married an American, Thomas Harris, and had 7 children John, Mary, James, Sarah, William, Ellen and Thomas. The first 5 were born in England and the last two born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

Most info I have is from Harris Family Bible records. I believe Thomas Harris is English, and his parents may be Roger Harris and Mary Robinson both believed to be from England. Roger Harris b. ~1780)has been a dead end in my research, though recently I found a Charles Robinson married to an Ellen Smith (b. 1762) (both from England) and that Ellen's fathers name is James Smith.
