G.M.Burke-Clark and M.G.Clark.
My mothers parents have since passed onto the next level of there existence from this world. Her parents were:
Russell Pearl Burke b. 1909 d. 1988 and Edith Hill b. 1917 d. 2008
Her grandfather was:
William N. Raymond Burke b. 1882 and died between 1964-1974.
Her great-grandfather was:
George Reason Burke b. 1858 in Preston Co.,VA d. 1946 in Preston County, WV
Her great-great grandfather was:
Hiram Greenberry Burke b. abt. 1822 in Monongalia County, VA
d. abt. 1870 in Preston County, WV
Her great-great-great grandfather was:
Cornelius Burke b. abt. 1780 somewhere in IRELAND, came to America by 1822 cause Hiram was born here. He also has 4 daughters but I have no clues regarding them. Cornelius Burke came to Preston County, VA with his 5 children. Hiram settled but it does not mention Cornelius's daughters names or what happened to them or Cornelius.
Any clues or suggestions would be most helpful.
