I am looking for more information to add to
JENS KRISTIAN PETERSEN
He was born 1843 in Denmark and died 16th August 1929 in Wanganui, where he is buried in the Aramoho Cemetery

He married Elizabeth Martin (Madsen) on7 May 1873 in Denmark
She was the daughter of Mads Thomasen and Catherine Marie (Sørensdatter) Sorensdr. She was born 1849 and died 17th Oct 1930 in Mangatainoka, New Zealand where she is buried

Before they emigrated on the FITZ REUTER from Hamburg, arriving into Napier, New Zealand on the 17th March 1875, they had 2 daughters:

* - Katherine (Christine) Petersen b.19-1-1870 Smidstrup og Skærup Sogne - married Charles William Louis Maximillian Kayser

* - Hanne Maria (Johanne) Petersen b.16-6-1874 Uldum, Denmark - married Mr Linwood, married Mr O'Brien, married Mr O'Connor

In New Zealand they had another 5 children:
* - Peter Petersen b.1876 married Mary Henderson

* - Mary Petersen b.1880 married Mr Smith

* - twin, Elizabeth Petersen b.1881 married Alfred Gregory Riches, who, 7 years after her death married her twin sister Jensina - he and Elizabeth had 9 children - he and Jensina had 1 child (not verified, he was then 55 and Jensina was 49)

* - twin, Jensina Petersen b.1881 married Thomas Leevers and Alfred Gregory Riches (widower of her twin sister Elizabeth)

* - Martin Petersen b.1883 married Mary ?

According to Elizabeth's death certificate of 1930, 5 of these children were still alive when she died - see at link above..
