my name is violet moore and i am trying to fine someone that know about the mcgowans from tenn thats where they lived .they died in tenn but cant fine out where. there names are john a. mcgowan and martha mcgowan now they might spell it diffent when they came from it might be mcgwen.my grandmother was a mcgowan before she married my grandfather.she was born in golddust tenn in 1876 and now its call riply tenn.she had one brother but know one nos him. for me to finish my family tree i need to fine her family.my couisns in ca.gave me there names but i think thats wrong because my grand mother said that she was ducht irish and my mom said that her grand mother and grand father came from ireland.her and my grandfather had 12 kids and now they are all dead so they cant help me. my couisn in ky said that she was taking in by some people by the names of lebows in riply tenn. and cant fine them either.sure hope some one knows some thing about them and can help me out .
