I don't know if this is the same family or not?
My Grandfather on my mom's side was George Burt Lafferty. I have no info where he originated from??? He married Lucille Maple of Linton TWP in Ohio and they raised 10 children there, I can tell you that George had a Son to a prior relationship,I don't know if it was out of wedlock or not??? however his name was Calvin Lafferty and he was my mom's half-brother alledgely??? I forgot to mention that my mom always said that her dad George lafferty was a only child, but she never said who his Parent was???? or where from??

I learned today from Coshocton Co. Ohio records Dept. that my Grandfather was born in PA. and his Parents was George and Annie Lafferty, Her maiden name was Craig, I am in the process of getting the Death Certificate and I will forward anymore info when i get it.....Greg
