WAS REV. RODDA, SORRENTO'S C. OF E. MINISTER, THE SAME REV. RODDA AS THE ONE AT BROADMEADOWS, KEILOR AND BULLA?
I've often wondered this but refused to be sidetracked from the research in hand. The answer is no but they were brothers, Edwin at Sorrento and Richard Henry near Tullamarine, both sons of Nicholas Rodda and Jane, nee White. There may have been other brothers who were also Church of England ministers in Victoria, such as Rev. Benjamin Rodda (the co-celebrant at Edwin's wedding.)

Itellya is researching local history on the Mornington Peninsula and is willing to help family historians with information about the area between Somerville and Blairgowrie. He has extensive information about Henry Gomm of Somerville, Joseph Porta (Victoria's first bellows manufacturer) and Captain Adams of Rosebud.
