I am researching the COLLINS line via my Gr-Gr GFather William Collins.
He was born around 1822 in the North Molton area. He was married in 1848 to Mary Lang. I have seen his marriage certificate and it lists his father as Thomas Collins and shows a Jane Collins as a witness.

The closest I have been able to get to Thomas is a THOMAS COLLINS born 1796 living in Twitchen in 1841. He has a son William who was 15 and a daughter Jane who was 20. The birth year of this William doesn't quite fit with my William. So I have not made th connection beyond a reasonable doubt.
