Audrey Bowman had to be born after 1928 in New Orleans. I am not sure of Bessie Rhodes date of birth. Albert William Bowman died in New Orleans around 1939. I think he was about 42 at time of death and he was born somewhere in Wisconsin. His previous wife died in New Orleans sometime around 1928.

Funeral services for Audrey Banes will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at New Union Baptist Church in Tullos with Rev. Tommy Hollis and Jimmy Piercy officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Knott Cemetery in Starks under the directions of Hixson Brothers Jena.The family asks that visitation be observed on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 5 until 9 pm at the church.Mrs. Banes, 84, of Urania was born on April 13, 1930 in New Orleans and passed from this life on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at her residence in Urania. She was a homemaker.Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Bobbie Carter and husband Dewey of Olla; sons, David Banes of Urania, James Bo Banes and wife Jane of Georgetown, James Jay Banes, Jr. and wife Tammie of Urania and Richard Banes and wife Linda of Georgetown; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; special friends, Kathy Brooks, Betty Banes, Debbie Chisolm and Beth Wilkins.She was preceded in death by husband, James Carl Banes, Sr.; sons, George Bailes and James D. Bailes; parents, Albert and Bessie Avery Bowman; granddaughter, Lisa Delancy; Pallbearers will be J. C. Banes, Bobo Banes, Joey Delancy, Andy Delancy, Jody Johnson, Joe Pardue, Bigun Nugent and Marvin Delancy.Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Banes, Cole Meredith, Dalton Provence, Will Delancy, Jami McClanhan and Noah Pardue.
