I am the great granddaughter of Maria Morley and George Strange. Maria daughter of John Sorrell Bott and Rebecca Lovell. Maria died and "grandfather remarried. My grandmother Alice Kathleen Strange did not know much about the Morley side of the family. One of the ladies where I work is a descendent of Mary Ann Bott sister of Sarah Jane. Joy Cuting nee Day was brought up by her grandmother Mary Ann Day nee Haines. Joy went to the Bott family reunion and has the Bott family book.
Alice Strange married John Schwab. They lived and worked at Mt Beevor Station and then bought a farm at Harrogate. Gladys Haines also married one of John's brothers. Joy Cutting and my mother Jean Schwab (now Flaherty) have a cousin in common Joan. The Jenkinsons also lived in the Nairne /Woodside/ Harrogate area as Sonny and Curl Jenkinson were friends of my grandparents John and Alice. Jenkinsonsburied in Methodist cemetery either Nairne or Woodside.

Similar to stillman22 above, my great great grandparents were John Sorrell Bott and Rebecca Lovell. My great grandmother was Ann Elizabeth Bott who you haven't listed above. She was the 11th of their 12 children (Elizabeth Lovell Bott (1839-1840) is the other daughter). There are no records of her birth in the SA records, but she married John Charles Mounce on 10 Sept 1874 in Yahl in the South East of South Australia, which I actually visited last week. She died in Millicent in 1891. John Sorrell died after a tree fell on him in 1859 and presumably much of the family headed down to the South East after his death. William Jospeh Bott was an early farmer in Kalangadoo. His wife, Jane Matilda Gartrell is a mutual aunty to both of my grand parents. She actually raised my grand father after Ann died. I saw the book "Hammer, Saw & Scythe: Australian Descendents of Thomas and Mary Bott of Brigstock, England" at the South East Family History Group in Millicent last week, which looked really good (found my name in it!). Pity I was shown it 5 minutes before they shut because it seemed to have a heap of useful information regarding the Bott line. That said, the South East Family History Group's volunteers were excellent, but I just asked the wrong questions!
