I found an old family photo which had my maternal grandmother in it, as a young child. The father's name was George and mother's name was Elizabeth. Of the children, one's name was Neil. His birthdate seems right as my grandmother was born in 1910 and Neil looks as though he would be about 12yrs older than her, in the photo. All the children are named, in the photo. It's possibly who you are looking for. I live in Christchurch, at the moment.

Since my husband received his DNA results and finding he has strong connections with the Cooke / Burgin / Wylie / Unwin / Murray families we have been researching this group. Elizabeth Wylie born Cooke is one of the families we would love to verify. On her Marriage Certificate her father is named as John Cooke, whereas we thought it was Henry. Also wondering about her mother who is named as Mary Kirton.
We also live in Christchurch. As we don't know how our connection comes about we don't have a tree on Ancestry or MyHeritage. Would love to hear from you both.
