Thank you for your post. I am researching the Howards from South-Eastern Kentucky, as well as these surnames: Osborne, Collins, Frye, Brock, Blanton, Wages & Saylor. Would like to share and compare data if possible.
Thanks
Anita
I'm looking for a Hensley ancestor from Stafford Co., VA. It appears that many of the Hensley's from Harlan Co. go back to the same family that I am researching.
I am looking for Elizabeth Hensley born ca 1775. She married Jesse Gough in Fauquier Co., VA in 1799.
I have a cousin who has Hensley cousins from Harlan Co. and I think she has Howard's.
I'm sorry but I don't have an Elizabeth born 1775 and married to Jesse Gough. I'm sure we must be related somehow. Good luck on your search.
Patrick Howard and Jane Couch are also my great-great grandparents on my Mom's side (Martha Howard). My Mom's Dad moved from Breathitt Co. to Letcher Co., KY. Anyway, hello to my distant relatives!!
I am the great grandaughter of Patrick and Shrilda Howard. My grandmother was Martha Howard Potter, the sister of your mother. My Father was James Burton (J.B) Potter. I had talked to Mike Howard and he informed me of your search and information.
