I know your great grandmother's father was Henry LEE. From around Glen Innis and married Annie Pearson.I came across this family through Emily's brother Percival when I was doing some research about marriages abroad during the first war. At that time I had no reason to look at the HOLL family but Eschol's father was Robert and came to Australia on the Gypsy Queen from London at 15. I came across his obituary when I was doing that piece about Newtown in Sydney a few days ago. I remember it because the boy was named after the place he lived 'Eschol' I'll have to get back to you with the details.

Does the Bible tell you where your Great Grandparents were born and when and where they married.

The best place to start would be to get a copy of your Great Grandparents Marriage certificate if you can find the details and your grandfather Albert's marriage and birth certificates as well to compare to the Bible.

I couldn't locate a birth in NSW for Eschol John McQuarie Holl from 1860 to 1880 but did find this

DUBBO, Wednesday.
Mr. Robert Holl, who died in a private hospital in Dubbo, was 88 years of age, and had lived here since 1876. He came to Australia from London at the age of 15, in the ship Gipsy Queen, and carted and sold water for domestic purposes from Brickfield Hill where Anthony Hordern and Sons' building now stands. He had a saddler's shop and hotel combined In Penrith, South Creek, Bowenfels and Bathurst. Later he had a farm and hotel at Eschol, and finally took the old Royal Oak Hotel in Macquarie-street, Dubbo. Mr. Holl was a considerable property owner in the town. He leaves a family of ten, two sons and
eight married daughters.

TROVE holds a lot of information re- this family

I forgot Robert born 1864 he died 1909 and he had a son Robert who was killed in action. Also Robert snr1837-1925 had a brother John who went down with 'Dunbar' in 1857 when he was coming out for a visit. You'll find his name in Crew and Passenger list
