I have spent over 40 years researching my House line in Central New York. I have traced the family back to Peter House in the Minden area of the old Herkimer Country area. Peter married Nancy Ratmour and has a son George P House born in 1780 who married Catherine Baum. George P's son was Peter George born in 1809 married to Catyann Sullivan. Peter moved to central NY and had a son Wellington P in 1841. Peter's mother Catherine lived with him in the Hastings area. I'm trying to get additonal information on Peter House and Nancy Ratmour.
