Looking for Information on great great grandparents Ole and Dorthea CARLSON of Barron County,WI

Looking for information on Ole and Dorthea Carlson. Both were born in Norway in 1847 but I don't know the exact dates for them. They were married in abt 1870 since the 1900 WI census shows them being married 30 years. They had 13 children but only 7 lived. I only know the names of their last 3 children: Petra,Carrie and Joseph(my great grandfather) All of which were born in Michigan Dorthea died in 1904 in Barron County,WI.

Perhaps the surname changed upon emigration into the United States of America - say CARLSEN/KARLSON/KARLSEN.

My Great grandmother was Klara Elise Carlsen, born in 1871 in Wisconsin. Most of my family on my dad's side is from Wisconsin.
