I am trying to trace back my family line through my father.

I am a burton living in the USA. My Father is David William Burton (Born 1946) to James William Burton (Died 1979), His brothers were Thomas and Amos, I think. The family originates from Eastbourne or Worthing, but my Father was born in Chirk, Wales.

I also think that his father was William Burton, or possibly a James.

i live in canada and am a decendent of burtons.
in my tree, i have james burton, born 1844 the father of:
william george 1868, thomas 1870, james 1873, lina 1878 and martha 1885. so many of the names are the same, see if these help
