hi my name is violet moore and i am looking for mcgowans they might came from ireland but not for sure. my grand mother was a mcgowan before she married my grandfather. her parents died and her and one brother was adoped out to some people from tenn she was born in 1876 in tenn.the people that she was living with are from tenn the name was lebows thats what i was told would love to fine out if any one knows some one by that name. my mom told me that the mcgowans might be dutch iresh.if i could just fine out where her mom and dad came from that would help me to start her family tree. i hope someone will know something out there thank you very much violet moore.
