during my research into the GRIMSHAW family,i came across two brothers who were killed in the disaster.
there names were JOHN & JOSEPH GRIMSHAW, who were born in CROFTON,WEST YORKS
after a number of years re-search i now have enough to put to-gether into a book on LUNDHILL. this will be published very soon.
i also wrote a poem about the disaster,which was published in the SOUTH YORKSHIRE TIMES.

I received your Ancestry message a couple of days ago, however I can't answer it because I am no longer a member, due to the poisoning I suffered during my sixteen year service in the RAAF, I haven't been able to work since 1996.
My wife and I exist on a disability pension so I had to watch my money, and when the subscription ran out I swapped over to MyHeritage. I have 19 Family Trees now and the main one is the Moon Family Tree 3, however I found the Grimshaw family members in another tree under the Bank's name.
My Grandmother was Madeline Beatrice Nora Banks, who was born in 1899 in Maidstone, Kent. I am trying to find the time to cover all of the different trees, which is difficult due to being legally Blind with only 5% remaining in each eye.

I am related to the Grimshaw Family, and it says in MyHeritage that George Thomas Grimshaw, born in 1820 in Middlesex, England. Then he passed away on Dec 24 1853. He was married to Mary Ann Walker. He is (the Husband of a 2nd Cousin - 4 times removed of me - Phillip Charles Moon).
