Missing Arthur Family form Missouri to Texas

Journal by llajinn

I have been trying to trace my family back as we all would like to do in our reseach but have missing family.

I found my greatgrand father in 1880 census with his mother and his brothers and sisters. In the census it stated that his mother Mary Ann was widowed. And it was pointed out to me This family did alot of moving back and forth from Missouri to Texas during the Civil War time, as it shows in the years of the children's birth years.

My greatgrand father William David Arthur was 10 years old in 1880, where he lived in Denton Co, Texas. In 1893 he married Luella Smith from Collin Co,Texas. Her parents were Alvin and Mary Smith of Collin Co, Texas. Out of this union there are 10 children. About 6 children were born in Texas and the rest were born in Arkansus. The family lived in Polk Co, Arkansus.
