Have lots to share about the Burton's from Newfoundland, back to Charles Burton (1825)who arrived here from Christchurch England. His father was William Shepard Burton and wife Jane (nee Lawrence.) I have a good line back if your looking for this Burton tree.

Hi Peter, I have traced my Burton family tree back as far as William Burton born 1795, married to Jane (all I have is a first name!). Just wondering if there is a connection?
