Purchase Death Cert of Patricia Joy MACEY nee MONCKTON died 1957 registered Moree NSW daughter of Reuben John MONCKTON & Mary K. KENNEDY who married at Inverell back in 1925.

Marriage registration number 18951/1949 for groom MACEY, DESMOND BOYCE and bride MONCKTON, PATRICIA JOYCE at Inverell, NSW.

Interestingly, there is a death record for an unnamed child in 1964 at Bingara NSW with parents: Reuben John MONCKTON and wife Kay Janice.

Try searching the NSW bdms indexes for marriages of brides with maiden name: MONKTON, MONCKTON.

NB I have quite a few MONCKTON names in my tree due to connections by marriage to WATTS, PISCHKE, MOIST etc. and DIXON, HANLEY, MONCTON / MONCKTON, and MALLIS / MALLISE names in my tree - lots of Inverell families here ... Uralla, Auburnvale, Bingara, Ashford etc.

Looked at your post above re your grandmother Patricia Monckton marrying Desmond Macey in Moree NSW. In my family tree there is also a connection to the name Macey and to Moree, as a cousin of mine (her grandfather was a nephew of my great grandmother) her maiden name was Macey and she married a John Collins in Moree in 1928. Her name was Lila Mary (Topsy) Macey, and she and her husband John had 5 children. The parents of Lila nee Macey were Garrett Baston Macey and Thelma Adelaide nee Stevens, they married in Moree NSW in 1928, and Lila (Topsy) was born 22/11/1928, and she married John Collins in Moree. I could not find a Desmond Macey listed in their family, but the coincidence of another Macey being married in Moree, and no certainty that we have all those named Macey included in our tree (it has been a work in progress for nearly 40 years now) We do know that Lila had siblings named Aubrey David Macey, Jeffrey Francis Macey, Helena Margaret Macey, Ivan Macey, Nola Macey, Olive Macey, Carol Macey, Kathleen Thelma Macey, Linda Grace Macey but we can find no Desmond, but it is possible that either we do not yet have records of all the children of Garrett and Thelma, or that Desmond Macey is from another branch of the father of Lila, Garrett Macey, perhaps a brother of his, or the son of a brother of Garrett. One of our searches at present is to find any connection to the name given to Lila, as it is not a common name, but it appears to occur regularly in my family now, it was the name of my Mum, it is my name, we have given it as a second name to our two daughters, and we now wonder if it perhaps came originally from the Macey side who married into our ancestors, so if you have a Lila in your tree, please put a post here or send me a private message, Thank You.

I know that this pot was mde a long time ago, my grandmother is helena margaret macey, of what i know she is related to olive and jeffery, but i dont recognise any of the other names.....
