shar513 on 2015-03-16 20:26:35Hi, Im doing research on my own family tree, William Allen Schmidt (smith) is my great grand father, they changed their name to Smith just before the World War as it sounded to german.
the Schmidt's from what I have on Williams birth cert, mother and father came over to New Zealand, New Plymouth from Jutland Denmark.
I have no other information and would like any further family heritage you have on my great-great grand father William Didrick Schmidt would be appreciated.
