- Alexander next married Annie Emily SMITH (1881-1949) 27 March 1915!

in 1908 Zaki was in Standard III (Andrew Saba (1899-1984) was in Standard II) in Masterton. In Dec 1911 he was promoted to Standard V. In April 1917 he was charged in the Masterton Police Court with driving at an excessive rate of speed and was fined 10s. In Aug 1917 he was charged with failing to attended drill. Sergeant Major Voyce said he had called the roll but Zaki was not present. He said he was out of town. He was ordered to pay 7s cost. In April 1918 he was back in the Masterton magistrate's Court with failing to attend drill as required by the Defence Act and was fined 20s
NOTE, Andrew Saba was the Supervisor of the Devonport Post Office 1937-1943 and was then appointed Postmaster at Putaruru
