If I'm correct your William THOMAS was baptised in St Agnes 13 July 1800.
His parents were James THOMAS and Joanna RILSTONE. They were married in St Agnes 10 May 1800, a few months before William was born. They had another four children after William.
May be of some help.
Tonkin,
Thanks so much for the very quick reply, I had the name Rilstone for Joanna so your post more or less confirms that. I would be very interested to receive any more details you may have.
William had a son Henry who married Ann Eudey in 1863 (the year that William his father died) and they went to Australia, where there are relatives that I am in contact with.

Have now traced the ancestors to Australia. Henry Thomas Married Ann Eudey (ENDEY in Australian records) in Redruth Cornwall 29/08/1863. The travelled to Australia on the Golden City with 500 passengers leaving London 12/10/1864 although they more likely joined the ship at Plymouth where it left from on 17/10/1863 arriving 3/01/1864 in Brisbane. Henry and Ann had two children born in Queensland William born 10/04/1865 and Alfred Henry born 6/05/1866 in Toowomba. Henry Died in Taradale 2/09/1867 and Ann remarried in Bendigo 3/10/1868 a John Napoleon Jenkinson.
Anyone with any info on this chapter?
