Kiaora Whānau,
My name is Georgine Jane Raj (Edmonds) and I am the youngest grandchild of Graham Nanakia Edmonds & Raiha Pekema Edmonds. My handsome/wonderful dad is George (Hori) Edmonds and my beautiful mum is Victoria Rebecca Edmonds (Ngarimu).I was born in Feb 1983 and I am the youngest to Dad's 13 children. Dad has 4 sons to his 1st marriage, and 9 with our mum.My older sisters Stephanie,Kaye my nephew Ray(Boy)have shared their journey here also.I felt inspired to share what little knowledge I know that my Dad gave me. Unfortunately our Whānau lost our Strong post(my dad) in March 2021,our Mum in 2003 and our beautiful sister Stephanie in Jan 2023, we have 7 siblings left out of 13.
My dad is one of 13, with 2 siblings left. The names are as follows:

Alice(Ma) (Lives in Masterton aged 80yrs).
Anna (Passed away in The Puke)

Cecil (Stillborn)
Esther (is the youngest sibling, no children buried in Stoke,Nelson).
I was aged 7-8 yrs when we traveled from The Kuiti to Hicks Bay for Reunion. I remember at the dinner, we stood up and sang "United we stand, divided we fall"!! Great memories growing up with this wonderful line of aunties and uncles, sitting as kid listening to them talk about 'the day'!! They were all strong, and worked hard in farming and shearing. I will forever be grateful in who I identify as an Edmonds. My Daddy and Mummy raised us to love and to never forget we are loved.
Ngā mihi nui kia koutou Whānau.
