help with Thomas Eliab JONES & Mary Jane SEARANCKE - New Zealand

A journal posted 3 Nov 2010
the children of Francis Charsley SEARANCKE + Mary Jane GEANGE

... the children of Francis Charsley SEARANCKE + Mary Jane GEANGE were born in Upper Hutt

Francis was born about 1839 in Trim, County Meath, Ireland
- he married Mary Jane Geange on 29-12-1864 in Trentham
- Mary was born about 1842 in Butleigh, Glastonbury, Somerset

this prompted Beni to ask

... "Mary Jane was my great grandmother. I understand that Francis deserted Mary Jane and their 7 children and went off with a Mrs Richard Barton. I have no proof of this. My relatives told me that Mary Jane later married Thomas Eliab (Elias) Jones and had three more children - one of whom was my grandmother, Sarah Jones. No-one knows who Thomas Jones was and have never found a marriage or death certificate" ...

I have not found anything at this time on Thomas Eliab Jones

Can anyone please help
