In Remembrance, 1944

BEEHAG - In proud and loving memory of our dearly-loved son, Jack Lionel, Warrant Officer, killed on October 27, 1943
Your name was called, and you were there,
To do your bit and take your share,
You lead the way, your men they say,
Fighting through jungle and storm.
- Inserted by his lovig mum and dad

BEEHAG - In loving memory of my dear brother, W.O.II Jack Lionel Beehag, killed in action, Mono island, October 27, 1943
Although you are resting in a foreign land,
Covered with a blanket of island sand,
To me, dear Jack, you will always be still alive in my memory
You gave your life, I will never forget,
Your smiling face when last we met
- Inserted by his loving brother Jim

BEEHAG - In loving memory of our dearly-loved brother, W.O.II Jack Lionel Beehag, killed in action, Mono Island, October 27, 1943
His memory is our dearest treasure,
In our hearts he will live for ever,
No earthly wealths will ever replace
His loving voice, his smiling face
Although in death you sleep in peace
Beyond the starlit sky,
Your spirit lives on in our hearts,
For love can never die
- Inserted by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Colin and Sadie

BEEHAG - In loving memory of our dear brother and uncle, W.O.II Jack Lionel Beehag, killed in action, Mono Island, October 27, 1943
Again the month of October is here,
To us it is the saddest of the year
Three little words, "Forget you not,"
They don't seem much, Jack, but mean a lot
Loving thoughts, so fond and true,
From those who thought the world of you
- Inserted by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Barbara and wee Carleen

BEEHAG - In loving memory of our dearly-loved son, Warrant Officer, Jack Lionel, killed on Mono Island, October 27, 1943
We are lonely here wthout you, and sadness marks our way
This life is not the same to us since God called you away
We alone know how much we miss you, few have seen us weep
We shed our tears from a broken heart when others are aslwwp
Enshrined within our hearts you still live on,
A thousand memories keep your presence near
Although one year has passed since you have gone
On that lone journey to another sphere
No day has passed without some loving thought,
So tender memory of the joy you brought
- Mum's boy, dad's pal

BEEHAG - In proud and loving memory of our dearly-loved brother, W.O.II Jack Lionel Beehag, killed in action, Mono Island, October 27, 1943
He left his home and birthplace,
To fight the nation;s war
He gave his all, his very life,
Could God or man give more?
- Inserted by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Bob

BEEHAG - J.L. W.O.II - In loving memory of my darling brother Jack, killed in action on Mono Island, October 27, 1943
I never thought when you left home
You would no more return,
That you so soon in death would sleep,
And leave us all to mourn
The stars shine on a treasured grave
Of my brother I love but could not save,
To have, to love, and then to part,
Is the saddest story of the human heart
- Inserted by his loving sister Shirley
