SADDLERS, BLACKSMITHS, WHIPMAKERS, - Wellington, New Zealand 1866

Before the introduction of cars into New Zealand (1898) and even for many years after, horses were extensively used by men, women and children.
Saddles, bridles, whips and spurs were necessary purchases
(it could be said that bootmakers could be in this category)
