Looking for early ancestors of Edward and Eleanor Hanibal or Hanahel who were living in St Johns, New Foundland, Canada in 1758. Their daughter, Honora Hanibal/Hanahel married William Ryan in 1779 and their first child was a son, John Ryan. The records indicate that Honora also had a twin brother, John Hanibal. would like to know more about William Ryan and how he came to be in New Foundland.
