After running The North Midland Times for six months he printed his last edition of the paper on 15 March 1935
Left Carnamah by train on Tuesday 19 March 1935 and shifted to Perth
His father composed the performance of the Morawa Concert Party at the Silver Jubilee Celebrations in Morawa in 1936
Enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force on 12 November 1940
Leading Aircraftman 29223 in the Royal Australian Air Force's 1 Aircraft Depot during the Second World War
Discharged from the Royal Australian Air Force on 4 January 1946
Printer in Carnarvon in 1949
Later resided in Moora
Died 18 November 1998; cremated at the Karrakatta Cemetery, Perth WA
