Atkins of the Mid West/East Coast

Journal by Babykassie

Hi My name is Amber. The family I am researching at the moment is my Maternal Grandfather. I have gotten as far as his father and have hit a little road block. My grandfather is William Marshall Atkins, Jr. born May 24, 1930 in Red Bank New Jersey. He passed in 2016 in California. His father is William Marshall Atkins, Sr. born November 5, 1888 (this is where I got stuck) Newark, Ohio or in Kansas or in Michigan. Different Census' say different places but most say Ohio. I have contacted the Licking Health Dept for his birth cert (if that is where he was born. Hopefully they get back to me soon. In the meantime I thought I would see if anyone on here might be related or have information, etc.
Also the family worked in Wire work and engraving.
