Looking for anyone with a Chadwick connection in Northern GA. Looking to find info on my GGparents John Chadwick brn abt 1830 either NC or GA,died after 1860 place unk,but was living in GA as of the 1850's with wife Mary who's maiden name may be Hodgin,Hodgins,Hodgens brn abt 1831 NC or SC. They were the parents of 7 children,with 3 still living in 1900,and I believe that the 3 were Abraham Abe Chadwick brn abt 1858 GA,my Gfather John Chadwick brn abt 1852/60 GA,and possible James Jim Chadwick who died in OK abt 1950's. I do believe that Gfather John Chadwick had been married at least 2 times before he married my Gmother Nancy Manerva Bond abt 1887 in TN. Saw a 1900 Anderson Co TN census for John Chadwick,and family,and it states,John brn 1860 GA,and his mother Mary age 69 brn abt 1831 NC,also in the household was John's nephews,Mary's Gsons,a Robert Chadwick brn abt 1881 Ga,and Oliver Chadwick brn abt 1883 GA. I believe at one time John Chadwick,and Mary Hodgin's lived in or around Murray Co GA. Also believe that their son Abe Chadwick was the father to Robert,and Oliver Chadwick,and also lived in Murray Co GA,and Bradley Co TN. I also heard that Gfather John Chadwick had a daughter who married a unk Blue in northern Ga,and she may have passed abt 1930's.
