I am descended from William Coxe, of Brockbourne,Hertfordshire,England. He came into Jamestown,Va. 1610, when he was 12, on the ship The Godspeed. He survived the Indian Massacre in 1622, married Elizabeth Hutchins; his descendents expanded into NC,SC,Alabama,Ms. Hope this helps! Judy Emerick

His descendents also came into Tennessee. Amrose Cox,my great-great Grandfather was born in Halifax Co. Va and died 8-27-1836 in Louisville Tennseess and is buried in the family cemetery on the old family farm. Pete
