My grandfather is William H. Cross 1901-1967 and he was born in Chestertown,Warren,N.Y. & died in Watertown,Jefferson,N.Y. where I'M from. He's my mothers father and at one tome he moved to Boston where he was married to Helen M.Carrigan and four children were born and a fifth was born in Watertown when they moved there in 1930. His father was George H. Cross born abt 1857 and he lived in Johnsburg, N.Y. and his father was German? Cross, born abt 1815 from Canada and moved to the U S and also lived in Johnsburg. That's all I have except for some of the children born to George along with my grandfather in the 1920 census. There are other children, but the names change change you don't know for sure. they do originate from France.
