Gerard family pre 1812

Looking for information on the Gerard family from Dorset. Believe a son William was born C1812. He married Mary Studley. He and 5 children immigrated to Australia.
Any information on either family prior to this marriage would be appreciated.
Also looking for information on William Collier and Sarah Russell. Both were born in England, and married in Australia on 20 November 1837.
Believe both could have come to Australia as convicts.

Hi. Regarding Gerard and Studley families from Dorset, I suggest you logon to www.rootschat.com, sign up as a free member, you don't have to use your real name, it's just like familytreecircles. Post a message in the lookups section. Click on England - General - child board Dorset. Make sure you read instructions on how to post a message prior to this though. The people on there are absolutely fantastic. They can lookup Census data at the drop of a hat.
Looked for William Collier and Sarah Russell as possibly being convicts. Checked out Lesley Uebel's claim a convict.

No mention of a William Collier was found in the site I looked at but I did turn up a Sarah Russell at another site (there are many - buzz me back if you want to know more convict sites). Not sure if it the lady you want as more information is required.
Sarah Russell arrived 1834 on ship Numa. Trial place Glasgow 1833, term 7 years, aged 18.
