Hello lady_bec,
Do you have a little more info?
Do you know his father's name, mother's name - where they were born or where Henry was born.
Do you know who Henry may have married?
I will try and help
He is my Grandfather. His D.O.B was around 1919 and may have been Born in Picton. He Married a lady by the name of Zeta Mary Ann Lowe. They gave birth to 8 children; Stanley, Steven, William, Mary, Gayle & Theresa. I have been told that mary has passd within the last 15 yrs or so. Henry died around 1972/4, Zeta died 1959/60. I also know that Henrys mother came from Poland, and there is scottish in there as well possibly Henry's dad? I am unsure.
Thnak You for your help. I have had no success.

Here is a discussion forum on HOFFMANs in New Zealand that you might like to add to
GenForum Hoffmans
There is a family tree of Hofmans here:
HOFFMAN FAMILY
although they lived in the South, Gore, etc you may find someone - people migrated all over NZ from their starting point...
Another Hoffman forum:
HOFFMAN FAMILY Gore NZ
same family as above but different info - there was 8 children to that couple
ps - Josepha / Josephine's second name above is supposed to be Agnes !
There is a lot of Hall genealogy here on our own site:
HALL Family
Register as a Hall researcher while on that page
There is quite a bit of interest in the LOWE family in New Zealand - here at:

Well,
I was about to finish and get ready for work when I found your grandfather buried in the Hawera Cemetery, which as you may know is about 9km north west of Wanganu - so that puts him in that area for many years as you say he was there in the 60s-70s
That will make it easier to find more info on his children etc
He was buried on the 14th Sept 1976 aged 57 in the old plot number 20 - now renumbered to
Plot 9329 - Block XLIII
The burial record numer is 9986 if you want to make enquiries
Your grandmother Zeta Mary Anne is buried with him - her burial record number is 12875
She was buried on the 4th Aug 1959 aged 38 !!! very young ...
Unfortunately I don't have any more time until tonight - will look further then if you want
Hi,
My dad says that he remembers an auntie Rita? when he was about 16 or so. These records don't indicate a sister by that name. I have tried to read halls but i don't really know where to look.
Hi
My husband is a grandson of Harry's brother, Alfred John Hall. We live in Wellington. Harry and Alf's sister. Rita, the youngest of the family, is still alive.
Would love to hear from Lady Bec.
Hi Mary,
It has been years since I have seen this information. My mind boggles with it all. It would be wonderful to hear from Rita. The family has been divided for a long time now, it would be nice to have family connections.
Look forward to hearing from you. I can be contacted on email: laiarna@gmail.com
Warm Regards
Bec Hall
Hi Mary,
My dad wanted to know the name of your husbands father? What child of Alfred's is he?
Warm regards,
Bec
